Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall, whose Shockers are 34-0 and a No. 1 seed going into this year’s NCAA tournament, says the person he most admires is billionaire businessman Charles Koch.

When asked by ESPN in a recent interview what living person he admired most, Mr. Marshall told the network that it would have to be the chairman and CEO of Koch Industries.

“He a Wichitan who owns the second-largest privately owned company,” Mr. Marshall said of Mr. Koch, whose company has sales of more than $100 billion. “He and his brother [David] are tied for the fourth-richest man in America, and he’s done it with great integrity and commitment to the community. He’s incredibly brilliant.”

Wichita State, which made the Final Four last year, is the No. 2 team in the country, according to Associated Press’s final Top 25 poll of the season.
