FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Wildlife officials say a panther has died after being struck and killed by a vehicle in southwest Florida.

The Fort Myers News-Press (https://newspr.es/1fTCZrc ) reports that the 3-year-old male panther was found dead in Lee County on Saturday.

Wildlife officials say it is fifth panther to be struck and killed on Florida roads so far this year.
