PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a 61-year-old woman who was snowmobiling in western Wyoming’s Sublette County was found dead.

Sheriff’s spokesman Stephen Smith says deputies received a call at about 7 a.m. Saturday from a man who said he was working out of town and had not heard from his wife since noon Friday. The woman, identified as Marian Gants, told her husband she planned to snowmobile to their truck and then drive to Pinedale.

Gants‘ body and her snowmobile were found on Boulder Lake Road near Pinedale.

The cause of her death has not been released, but foul play is not suspected.
