TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Six Mississippi craft breweries will participate in Saturday’s second annual Tupelo Craft Beer Festival.

They are among the 30 companies participating in the event that will be held from noon to 5 p.m. in Fairpark. Tickets are $40.

Festival organizer Matt Leff tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (https://bit.ly/1paQnrZ ) that the six are Southern Prohibition Brewing, Crooked Letter Brewing, Lazy Magnolia, Lucky Town, Yalobusha Brewing and Oxford Brewing.

Leff says the festival is designed to showcase local companies. He says having Yalobusha and Oxford involved should pique interest.

Yalobusha Brewing is based in Water Valley. Oxford Brewing, while currently contract brewing elsewhere, is expected to open is facility in its namesake town in the next few months.

Leff says advance ticket sales have reached 700, ahead of last year’s pace.
