NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say nobody was injured when a runaway dump truck rolling downhill struck a car and sent it crashing through the wall of an apartment in metro Atlanta.

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1peeMgl ) the truck was being used on a grading job in Norcross when it rolled 40 yards down a hill Wednesday night. Gwinnett County firefighters say the truck plowed into a car, shoving it halfway through a ground floor unit at the Arbor Mill Apartments.

Investigators say the driver had stepped away from the truck when it started rolling. Nobody was inside the apartment that was damaged.

Firefighters were called out to secure the apartment and determine if it was structurally sound.
