SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez is heading to Missouri for fundraising and to support the University of New Mexico Lobos in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Martinez campaign spokesman Danny Diaz said the governor is traveling to St. Louis on Thursday and will raise money for her re-election.

The governor’s husband, Chuck Franco, is accompanying Martinez, and the couple will attend the Lobos game against Stanford on Friday.

The Republican governor’s re-election is paying for travel expenses for the governor and Franco.
