FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Sadie Rohrich’s pull-up jumper with 15 seconds left in the game lifted Kidder County to a 56-53 consolation win over Thompson at the North Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament Thursday.

Rohrich picked up eight points in the second half to finish with a team-high 14 points for the Pirates (20-6). She shot 6-for-10 from the field. Morgan Rohrich and Abby Randall added 10 points, including two 3-pointers apiece.

The Pirates held the lead until 4:52 remained in the third quarter when Bethany Ivesdal hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Tommies (23-2) up 36-32.

Shannon Galegher was the top performer for the Tommies with 24 points and 11 rebounds. She made 11 of 14 from the field. Ivesdal finished with eight points and Shaice Marx added six.
