NEWPORT, Ky. (AP) - Newport Aquarium’s new exhibit featuring more than a dozen turtles from around the world has opened its doors.

Turtle Canyon includes tortoises big and small, and a massive snapping turtle.

The exhibit opened to the public on Saturday. It is home to an 84-year-old Galapagos tortoise named Bravo, one of the last group of his species exported from the islands. He arrived at the aquarium earlier this month.

The exhibit also includes an 118-pound alligator snapping turtle, believed to be more than 100 years old.
