PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police in Portland are investigating whether there are any connections between two drive-by shootings.

Investigators say both shootings occurred in Southeast Portland overnight, a mile and a few hours apart.

One shooting occurred Friday at about 7 p.m., while the other early Saturday morning at about 3 a.m.



A 17-year-old male was injured in the Friday shooting. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Officers detained three people possibly connected to that shooting.

In the Saturday shooting, a 32-year-old man was injured and transported to a Portland hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Gang Enforcement Team is investigating both shootings.
