GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police in Greensboro say a man wanted in connection with the deaths of two women and an assault on a postal worker has been found dead of a gunshot wound after wrecking his car on a Greensboro street.
Greensboro police said a car driven by Menice Montell Smith crashed into a tree Monday after being pursued by officers. Spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said when officers reached the car, they found Smith had shot himself. He was pronounced dead at Moses Cone Hospital.
