MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile police are investigating a shooting outside a nightclub that left three people injured over the weekend.

Authorities say two men are hospitalized in stable condition and a third has been released from a local hospital after being shot early Saturday morning. Police say a man driving a red Chevrolet Impala drove past a group of three men who were standing outside a car and opened fire on them. Details on the shooter’s motive wasn’t immediately available.

Police spokesman Terence Perkins tells AL.com (https://bit.ly/1gjdKzg ) that police are bolstering patrols near the club on Springhill Avenue because of a recent increase in crime in the area.
