AUBURN, Wash. (AP) - Investigators have concluded that a fatal house fire in Auburn Sunday was set.

The Valley Regional Fire Authority said Wednesday the fire began in the second-floor master bedroom of the home where firefighters found the woman dead.

The fire was reported by neighbors who heard an explosion and breaking glass and saw the smoke and flames.

The fire department says flames destroyed the second floor of the home. The first floor and basement had water damage. The property loss is estimated at $170,000.
