COLUMBIA, Miss. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Jefferson Davis County man for allegedly selling counterfeit goods at a Columbia flea market.

Attorney General Jim Hood tells The Hattiesburg American (https://hatne.ws/1hqxcpT ) 60-year-old Willie Greer was arrested Friday following an undercover investigation by the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.

While executing the search warrant, Hood says investigators seized multiple items in alleged counterfeit goods, including designer handbags, CDs, DVDs, NFL jerseys and designer sunglasses.

Greer is charged with one count of forging trademarks, labels or other markings used by the owner of the label in the manufacture of goods.

It was unclear whether Greer has an attorney.
