LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Junior forward Larry Nance Jr. says the surgery to repair his right knee went well and he is making progress in rehabilitation.

Nance suffered a torn ligament on Feb. 18 in a game against Fresno State and missed the rest of the season. He had surgery on March 5.

He was Wyoming’s leader in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocked shots. The Cowboys lost six of their last seven games while he was out.

Nance is keeping his options open on his return, saying he could be back on the court his summer or he could redshirt next season and return the following season.

He says he wants to be 100 percent when he does resume playing.

Coach Larry Shyatt says he believes Nance will be back by next season.
