LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says construction work will force weekend lane closures and detours at the Interstate 430/630 Little Rock interchange.

Crews will be installing steel beams on a new bridge, affecting several routes. The lane closures and detours will begin Saturday at 9 p.m. and continue until Monday at 5 a.m.

Affected routes include Financial Centre Parkway to I-630 eastbound. Financial Centre Parkway traffic will be reduced to one lane and detoured to Hermitage Road.

Shackleford Road northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and detoured to Interstate 630 eastbound. Shackleford Road southbound traffic to eastbound I-630 will be detoured to Markham Street and east to Barrow Road for access.

I-630 westbound to Financial Centre Parkway traffic will be reduced to one lane, with no detour.
