PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - This most expensive artwork ever sold at auction will soon be leaving the Portland Art Museum.

The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/DU7CGB) that Sunday April 6 is the last day to view “Three Studies of Lucian Freud” - a three-paneled painting created by Francis Bacon in 1969.

An anonymous collector - later revealed to be Elaine Wynn -paid more than $142 million for the triptych in November. The piece then headed to Portland and has been on view at the museum since Dec. 21.
