FREMONT, Calif. (AP) - A Northern California man has been charged with murder after crashing his car and killing a U.S. Marine who had just returned from Afghanistan.

Fremont police officer Alan Zambonin wrote in an affidavit that 23-year-old Alexander Yohn of Emeryville had refused offers of a ride after a night of drinking before causing the crash that killed 23-year-old Andrew Silva of Union City who was riding his motorcycle.
