PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland police say a 24-year-old bicyclist remains in critical condition, but is expected to survive the head injury he suffered in a Thursday night crash.
Investigators determined that Ryan Egge was riding fast when he cut through a convenience store parking lot and continued riding on Northeast Killingsworth Street, where he struck a Dodge Dart driven by a 64-year-old woman who cooperated with police and was not impaired.
Sgt. Pete Simpson says the investigation is not over and citations may be issued.
