LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt says redshirt junior guard Charles Hankerson Jr. has been fully reinstated to the team effective immediately.

Shyatt made the announcement Friday in a statement that included an apology by Hankerson.

Hankerson played in 27 games this past season before being suspended indefinitely on Feb. 24 for undisclosed reasons.

Hankerson is quoted in the statement saying he will pay for his education at UW, starting next fall, to prove he can do the right things to be a productive member of the team.

Hankerson averaged 5.1 points and 1.3 rebounds, while shooting 43 percent from the field and 40 percent beyond the arc.

Shyatt also announced that sophomore forward Austin Haldorson plans to transfer and will not return to the team next season.
