ASHDOWN, Ark. (AP) - The home of Little River County Chief Deputy Sheriff Lee Sullivan near Ashdown was burglarized and several of his police uniform shirts are among the items taken.

Sheriff Gary Gregory told the Texarkana Gazette (https://bit.ly/1pBeyjr ) that authorities are concerned the burglar may use the uniform shirts to impersonate a law officer.

Sullivan reported the burglary shortly before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after he returned home. Other items taken include about 100 rounds of ammunition, a computer thumb drive, rings and a gold rope chain.

The burglar also left a message reading “I will get you” written on a bathroom mirror.

The investigation has been turned over to the Arkansas State Police.
