LAKEVIEW, Ore. (AP) - The driver in a 2012 crash that killed his passenger in south-central Oregon has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.

The Lake County district attorney says 23-year-old Sean Berglund of Gresham pleaded guilty earlier this month to manslaughter.

Berglund initially said an unidentified third person was driving the pickup on Highway 31 about four miles south of the unincorporated community of Silver Lake.

State police said the pickup went into a ditch and rolled numerous times before landing on its top. The crash killed 22-year-old Robert Busch of Gresham.
