MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - The alleged gunman in a robbery of a Medford, Ore., convenience store has been arrested in California.

Police say Demario Jackson of Stockton, Calif., and an unknown man entered the store on Sunday, March 16. The men jumped the counter, grabbed money from the register and fled. Jackson is suspected of pointing a gun at the female clerk.

The Medford Mail Tribune (https://is.gd/CHSnmJ) reports the 24-year-old Jackson is being held without bail in Alameda County, Calif., on a parole violation for a weapons charge.

Jail records show he is set to be arraigned on the parole violation charge April 11.
