NEWBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a man being sought after a shooting and police chase in the Hudson Valley has been located and taken into custody.

Town of Newburgh police tell the Times Herald-Record of Middletown (https://bit.ly/1fruCQi ) that police in Spring Valley in Rockland County found the 20-year-old suspect late Wednesday night.

Officials say he was one of four men in a car that fled from police after a shooting Saturday night in the city of Newburgh. The car sped across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge into Dutchess County, where the chase ended in East Fishkill with the arrest of three of the men. The fourth fled the scene on foot.



He has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property and is being held in Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail.
