PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Studded tire season is coming to an end.
The Oregon Department of Transportation says motorists must remove them by Monday.
The metal studs that come in handy on icy roads are legal in Oregon from Nov. 1 through March 31.
But ODOT says the annual road damage from the rut-making studs is estimated at $40 million.
