STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi State University has been awarded a $250,000 grant that will be used for a program focusing on community health.

University officials say the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation grant will establish the MSU Health Fitness and Wellness Program. The program will offer informational lectures, a children’s camp and other efforts aimed at promoting fitness, nutrition and general health.
