WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Officials say nine people were hospitalized after a dump truck rear-ended a South Florida commuter bus.

West Palm Beach Fire Rescue reports that the nine victims were taken to three different area hospitals Monday afternoon. One person’s injuries were considered serious, while the other eight people suffered minor injuries.

The Palm Beach Post (https://goo.gl/MRcHBY ) reports that damage to the truck and Palm Tran bus was minor.

It was not immediately known whether the dump truck driver was among those injured.
