COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Spring is still more than two weeks away and it is clearly still winter in parts of South Carolina.

A winter weather advisory is posted in the northeastern corner of the state. Some snow and sleet is possible t around Darlington and Dillon from Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service is warning of freezing conditions along the south coast. Low temperatures Tuesday were expected to be around 29 degrees from Summerville and Moncks Corner to Walterboro and Allendale. Temperatures were expected to drop to the freezing mark along the coast from Charleston to Hilton Head Island.
