ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A Farmington man has admitted his role in the stabbing death of another man more than two years ago.

Foster’s Daily Democrat (https://bit.ly/1g4RNj3 ) reports that 23-year-old Cory Bennett pleaded guilty in Strafford County Superior Court to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Bennett and 28-year-old Christopher Gay were charged in the January 2012 death of 22-year-old Ryan Stewart, who was found with stab wounds in his apartment.

Terms of the plea agreement were not disclosed.

Gay is still scheduled to stand trial on murder and robbery charges.

The plea came after two weeks of jury selection ahead of what was to be a joint trial for the two men. Those jurors will be dismissed and a new panel chosen.
