EDINBORO, Pa. (AP) - Police say DNA found on a mask has linked a northwestern Pennsylvania man fatally shot by police after a credit union robbery in October to another heist earlier that month.

Edinboro police tell the Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/MIUFtX ) that Dionne Jordan, of Erie, has been linked to the mask found near a PNC Bank branch robbed Oct. 18.

Edinboro is about 15 miles south of Erie, where police fatally shot Jordan as he aimed a loaded revolver at officers in a shopping center parking lot moments after robbing the Widget Financial branch on Oct. 30.

At the time of his death, the 30-year-old suspect was free on bond on charges he shot a woman during a home invasion robbery in August and was awaiting a retrial in an armed liquor store robbery in May 2010.
