AMSTERDAM (AP) - Ajax closed in on its fourth consecutive Dutch league title by beating FC Twente 3-0 Sunday.

Stefano Denswil, Lasse Schone and Bojan Krkic all scored for Ajax, which extended its lead to eight points with five games to go.

Twente hit the crossbar and post in the first half before Denswil headed in a free kick in the 29th minute. Ricardo van Rhijn set up Schone for the second in the 58th and Krkic completed the win seven minutes later.

Twente dropped to fifth place, 10 points behind Ajax. Feyenoord moved into second after routing Go Ahead Eagles 5-0 with goals from five different players.
