NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Northwestern State University is sponsoring job fairs for students and teachers Tuesday at the Friedman Student Union.

The student fair is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and is open to Northwestern State students and alumni.

The teacher fair is from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. It’s open to education majors.

Local, national and multinational companies, government agencies and universities will participate in the student fair, providing information, accepting resumes and conducting interviews.

Schools or school districts taking part in the teacher fair include Acadia, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Bossier, Caddo, Calcasieu, Caldwell, Concordia, DeSoto, El Dorado (Arkansas), Evangeline, Fort Bend (Texas), Grant, Iberia, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, LaSalle, Linwood of Shreveport, Mesquite (Texas), Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Sabine, St. Charles, St. Landry, St. Martin, Vernon and Winn.
