LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock say a human skull and other remains have been found just south of the Pulaski County jail.

A police report on the discovery says officers were called shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday by a man who said his dogs and found the remains. The report says the man gathered bones that he also found and that detectives later found more and those remains were turned over to the county coroner.

Lt. Sidney Allen said the search continued Monday for more remains and that the cause of death is unknown. He said it will likely take weeks to determine the identity of the person.
