PARIS, Maine (AP) - An Oxford County man involved in a weekend standoff with police has been charged with two misdemeanor offenses.

Corey Taylor of Peru was charged in court Monday with criminal threatening and terrorizing. Both carry a sentence of a year in jail and a $2,000 fine upon conviction. He was granted $5,000 cash bail.

The 40-year-old Taylor was arrested early Sunday morning after standoff lasting several hours at his home.

Police allege Taylor had made threats against family members, including one threat to kill an older brother.

Taylor holed up in his home alone for several hours. Police say multiple guns were found inside.
