PROCTOR, Vt. (AP) - Police are no longer searching the Rutland County town of Proctor, Vt., for a woman who was reported missing last week, but are following up on tips she was seen in other locations.

Police say 59-year-old Maryann Foster was reported missing by her boyfriend on Feb. 26. Authorities say she disappeared without taking her jacket or keys.

Police say a ground and air search of her neighborhood last week failed to find her.

County Sheriff Stephen Benard tells the Rutland Herald (https://bit.ly/1f0ZuWE) police are following up calls from people who reported seeing Foster in Berlin, Williston and two or three other locations.

Benard said Foster’s disappearance is still considered a missing person case due to the lack of any evidence of foul play.
