RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Richmond Division has a new leader.

FBI Director James Comey has named Adam S. Lee special agent in charge of the division. Lee comes to Richmond from FBI headquarters in Washington, where he has served as head of the Public Corruption and Civil Right Section since June 2012. He previously led the FBI’s global Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Antitrust Programs.

Lee began his FBI career in 1996 as a special agent in San Diego, investigating public corruption and white collar crime. He has held a variety of positions since moving to Washington in 2005.
