LEVITTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A suburban Philadelphia man has been ordered to stand trial in the deaths of a pregnant woman and her young daughter last year.

Bucks County prosecutors said 21-year-old Marcel Johnson of Levittown is linked to the crime by DNA evidence.

A police officer testified at a hearing Tuesday that 22-year-old Ebony Talley and her 4-year-old daughter were found dead in their burned-out Levittown apartment on Nov. 25. Both had been stabbed.

Prosecutors believe the apartment was torched to destroy evidence.

Johnson has been in custody without bail since the day after the slayings on charges including criminal homicide, homicide of an unborn child, arson and weapons possession.

Friends and family say Talley was five months pregnant at the time of her death.
