BEN NETTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Two teens have died after a head-on collision in Marlboro County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened Tuesday afternoon on state Highway 79.

Coroner Tim Brown said he pronounced 16-year-old Allison English and 16-year-old Jeremiah Dean Adams dead at the scene.

Troopers said a pickup truck crossed the centerline of the highway and hit a tractor trailer hauling logs. The driver of the truck had only minor injuries.

Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins said no charges will be filed against the truck driver since the car crossed the centerline.
