ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The art museum at the University of Georgia plans to host exhibitions by two contemporary artists in conjunction with a festival celebrating music, electronic art and technology.

Exhibitions by Tristan Perick and Quayola open at the Georgia Museum of Art on March 20. The exhibitions’ debut coincides with the Slingshot festival, which is spread over four city blocks and dozens of venues in downtown Athens March 19-22.

Perich is an artist and composer in New York who works in electronic sound art and other media. The museum will feature one of his machine drawings on a 60-foot wall from March 20 through Sept. 21.

Quayola is a visual artist based in London. One of his video installations will be screened at the museum from March 20 through June 20.
