SEATTLE (AP) - Tips led police to arrest a man suspected of robbing a blind man at a downtown Seattle ATM machine.

Police say the suspect was arrested Tuesday night in the Pioneer Square area and held for investigation of robbery and on a separate fugitive arrest warrant from New York.

The victim had been forced to hand over hundreds of dollars at gunpoint. The robber gave him a cigarette and fled. A witness flagged down a police officer.

A surveillance camera photo of the suspect smoking a cigarette helped lead to his arrest.
