SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A Medicaid provider from Buffalo is accused of trying to defraud the state-federal health care program.

Wyoming Attorney General Peter K. Michael announced Tuesday that Beverly Kenik was indicted for health care fraud by a federal grand jury.

Sheridan Media (https://bit.ly/MNiYal ) reports she’s accused of billing for over $4,000 in case management services to a developmentally disabled child and not delivering them.

Kenik has pleaded not guilty to the charge. She is scheduled to go on trial April 21 in Casper.

The case was investigated by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the attorney general’s office.
