CLIO, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan High School Athletic Association has banned a Saginaw fan from attending games for the remainder of a district high school basketball tournament in Clio.

The Saginaw News (https://bit.ly/1hLQglo ) quotes MHSAA spokesman John Johnson as saying the unnamed fan took part in a scuffle following the Saginaw High-Saginaw Arthur Hill boys basketball game Monday night.

Saginaw beat Arthur Hill 53-51, and fans rushed the court after a last-second, full-court shot failed. The first-round district game was played at Clio High School, about 65 miles northwest of Detroit.

Police helped disperse the fans who had stormed the court.

Saginaw plays Clio in the district semifinals on Wednesday, with a spot in Friday’s district championship game on the line.
