OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma County sheriff says a local attorney is facing several felony and misdemeanor counts for bringing contraband into the county jail and offering to engage in an act of lewdness with a female inmate.
Attorney Frank Kirk is free on $10,000 bond. Kirk told The Associated Press late Wednesday that his attorneys have advised him not to comment on the allegations.
Authorities say the female victim contacted Kirk in January to see if he could represent her, but even though Kirk was contacted by the victim, he never became her attorney.
Law enforcement officials say during their initial meeting, the victim reported that Kirk told her since she didn’t have the cash to pay for his services, she could make it up to him by performing sexual acts instead.
