KEIZER, Ore. (AP) - Eight people consisting of family members and friends have been arrested and accused in more than a dozen residential burglaries in Keizer.

The break-ins began in November and police got a lead when they were able to track a tablet computer that had been stolen.

The Statesman Journal reports (https://stjr.nl/1ou0hEL ) officers served a search warrant Feb. 28 at a home where they found stolen computers, hanguns, jewelry, auto parts and even a dog that didn’t look as if it belonged there.

The warrant led directly to the arrest of a woman, two of her sons and a girlfriend. Investigators later arrested another son and three more people.
