MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A man accused of human trafficking in Minot has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge.
The Minot Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/MTMStu) that an arrest warrant was issued in May 2013 for 32-year-old Loc Tran. He was arrested in Denver in late January and brought back to North Dakota to face the charge that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison.
Tran and Trina Nguyen (wihn) are accused of running The Mann’s Club, a massage parlor in Minot that prostituted women who couldn’t speak English and lived on the upper floor of the business. Nguyen earlier pleaded not guilty. A trial date has not been set for either suspect.
