BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s top law enforcer and the state’s Public Service Commission chairman are facing Democratic challengers.

Fargo businessman Todd Reisenauer announced Thursday that he’s seeking his party’s endorsement for the PSC seat held by Republican Brian Kalk, who has not formally announced his intentions for re-election.

Grand Forks attorney Kiara Kraus-Parr also launched her campaign this week for attorney general, a position Republican Wayne Stenehjem (STEHN’-juhm) has held since 2000. Stenehjem also hasn’t formally announced his campaign for re-election.

North Dakota Democrats will hold their state convention in Fargo March 28-30.
