OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Jace Kerr had 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Trevin Lopez added 20 points and Forgan won its third state basketball title in four years, beating Lookeba-Sickles 77-69 on Saturday in the Class B boys championship game.

No. 1 Forgan, located in the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle, also won titles in 2011 and 2012. The Bulldogs led most of the way against No. 3 Lookeba-Sickles (26-5), but couldn’t shake the Panthers, never leading by more than 13 points.

Lookeba-Sickles led 17-15 early in the second quarter, but Forgan (29-1) used a 15-4 run to go up 30-21 and led 41-33 at halftime after a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Lopez.

The Panthers closed within 41-37 early in the second half before Forgan rebuilt its lead. Forgan went 10-of-16 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Bryson Lierie and Connor Karpe each scored 22 points for Lookeba-Sickles.
