ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The FBI is holding a man they believe to be responsible for anti-Semitic notes left at an Albuquerque deli.

Frank Fisher, an FBI Albuquerque Division spokesman, says 58-year-old John W. Ng will appear in U.S. District Court on Monday.

Fisher says Ng was arrested in connection with the notes found at Nosh Deli.

According to authorities, someone wrote Jewish slurs on postal stickers and pasted them on the deli in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood last month.

Similar stickers showed up a day later throughout the neighborhood.

Fisher did not say what led to Ng’s arrest.
