ATLANTA (AP) - Police are searching for the suspects in a fatal southeast Atlanta home invasion.
Police Capt. Paul Guerucci tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://bit.ly/1nws2xX ) that evidence suggests the man and woman who were killed early Sunday morning were targeted, and the home invasion wasn’t a random crime.
Authorities say police were called to the Southern Trace Apartments and found a man dead inside a unit. The woman who was shot was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead.
A detailed description of the suspects wasn’t immediately available and it wasn’t immediately clear why the two may have been targeted.
