GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A 27-year-old Cut Bank man has been charged with criminal endangerment following a shooting in Plentywood.

The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office tells the Great Falls Tribune (https://gftrib.com/1h4ug3h) that Herbie Fitzgerald was taken into custody Wednesday.

Police say the shooting occurred about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Plentywood hotel

Police say the 26-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. He was in good condition.

Police are continuing to investigate.
