BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - State police say a passenger on a motorcycle died in a Livingston Parish accident.

A news release from state police Troop A identifies the victim as 33-year-old Charlotte R. Cole of Baton Rouge.

She was a passenger Friday afternoon on the motorcycle driven by her husband, 45-year-old Thomas Cole Jr.

State police say the two were on a 2011 Kawasaki Vaquero motorcycle southbound on Louisiana Highway 16. The vehicle ran off the road as it approached a curve.

Both riders were ejected. Charlotte Cole died of her injuries. Thomas Cole was hospitalized with serious injuries.
